    Extended 1040 deadline — Thursday, October 15, 2026

On extension? A CPA can finish your 1040 this week.

Send the details today. We'll tell you what's missing, quote a flat fee on the call, and e-file before the 15th.

Flat fee, quoted on the call — agreed before any work starts.
One CPA on your return from intake to e-file. No handoffs.
K-1s, rentals, crypto, foreign accounts, multi-state — routine here.
The extension bought time to file, not to pay. We'll size the balance and the options.

    A CPA reads it

Same or next business day. You get back a document list built for your situation — not a generic checklist.

    02

    15 minutes on the phone

We confirm what's involved, flag anything that affects the balance due, and quote the flat fee. Nothing charged for this call.

    03

    Upload, review, e-file

Documents go into the encrypted portal. We prepare, you review the draft, you e-sign — filed before the 15th.

    What we'll ask you for

Most people already have the pile. If something is missing we can usually pull it from your IRS wage and income transcript.

    W-2s and 1099s
    K-1s from partnerships or S-corps
    Brokerage 1099-B and crypto statements
1095-A if you had marketplace insurance
Last year's return, whoever prepared it
Rental income and expense summary, if any

    Straight answers

It's already October — is there still time?

For most returns, yes. If something is genuinely missing we'll say so on the call and file as soon as it lands — a correct return filed a few days late beats a wrong one filed on time.

What if I owe more than I can pay?

File anyway. The failure-to-file penalty runs about ten times the failure-to-pay penalty, so filing first is almost always cheaper. Then we set up an instalment agreement or short-term plan.

Do you handle state returns too?

Yes — any state, including multi-state years if you moved or worked across state lines.

    I'm not in Florida.

Fine. Everything runs through the portal, phone and e-signature; clients are across the US. Nothing here requires a visit.

    Rather talk it through first?

Fifteen minutes, no charge, no documents. Say what happened and you'll leave the call knowing what the return needs and what it costs.
